Mixed Reality

Microsoft Mixed Reality represented a new paradigm in human–computer interaction, blending digital and physical environments into a unified experience. To support its launch, Microsoft needed a digital experience capable of translating a highly technical and abstract concept into an accessible, emotionally resonant story.

I designed an immersive web experience that combined cinematic storytelling, scroll-driven interaction, and visual effects to communicate the potential of Mixed Reality in a clear and compelling way.

Mood boards

I performed a comprehensive image search to establish a look and feel for the mixed reality story. Then pairing them down to key selects to create set of mood boards. These mood boards helped the client understand the creative direction and the team to stay consistent with our style.

Story boards

Creating detailed story boards with key moments in the mixed reality journey helped sell the vision to the client. Providing these high fidelity layouts to the effects studio ensured they understood the look and feel we were going for.

Early renders

I worked with the animation studio to implement the story boards and analyze early renders. Helping them with pacing, camera angles and the overall story flow. This detailed approach brought the experience to life.
